A People-Focused Creative Director.
I love getting to care for and lead creative teams to have a real impact through authentic collaboration.

People. People. People.
It all starts with people. It’s caring, it’s community, it’s valuing perspectives different from mine, it’s assuming good intent, it’s having the hard conversations because I care about the person, and it's fighting for people and against injustices and inequality.

Say What You Mean
Mean What You Say
I strive to always show up as my authentic self and want others to as well. Being willing to say "I don’t understand” or "I was wrong." No one is served well when the truth is not spoken.

Create
(With People and For People)
I love creating things and moments that have an impact on people (both big and small). From a tiny burst of joy from a click that reacts just right, to being moved to tears through powerful storytelling. As humans, we thrive in connection. We create better together than apart. And that's why collaboration is key (See?! I told you, it’s all about people!).

Have Fun
I mean…. there is an important time for all emotions. But choosing to have fun is almost always a win. Work hard and play hard. Joy is one of those things that is contagious, and it's so easy to share, creating a space where we can enjoy the ride, rather than suffer through it.

My Story
It all started with video for me. As a kid I was endlessly making goofy videos with our family camcorder. Coming out of college where I studied film, I jumped straight into creating films, content, ad campaigns, and marketing collateral for Life.Church, a faith community with a global online presence that reaches millions of people. Working on the in-house creative team of 40 creatives I was able to collaborate across multiple departments and pull together creative campaigns and content that really honed my skills.

Now, I currently lead a team of 35 people as the Experience Team Senior Director at a large inter-generational, multiethnic, and multicultural church in Seattle, and love every day of it. I lead the Creative, Production, Worship, and Guest Experience Teams, and am also a part of the senior leadership team. I get to do what I love most—collaborating! Ideating for the future, coaching and developing leaders, and creating a culture of care, trust and fun are the best parts of my job.

Over all this time, I have been able to lead and collaborate on national commercials, music videos, app design, and setting creative strategies. I know how to pull teams together and tell a cohesive story across all mediums with a keen eye for design, brand messaging, and overall vision. But more than all of that, I have a track record of caring deeply for the teams I lead, building a healthy and fun culture, rallying and aligning teams around a vision, and building towards that vision in an effective way.
But no matter how much I love what I do, it’s only my second favorite thing. The first is my super fun, silly and often loud family. We can likely be found exploring a beach or trail in the beautiful Pacific Northwest or playing the never-ending game of chasing after our dog, Clover, after one of the kids dropped her leash... again.
